A letter of inquiry/introduction is requested prior to submission of a grant proposal. Communications should be addressed to The Mary A. Crocker Trust, 233 Post Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94108. Please address correspondence to Barbaree Jernigan, Program Officer.
If a formal proposal is requested by the Trust, it should include:
- The amount requested and a complete statement of the necessity.
- A description of the project plan and intended outcome, and innovative features of the proposal.
- Budgetary information for the project as well as the budget of the applying organization.
- Information on aid from others.
- Persons to contact for further information
(A grant request form from this office will accompany our request for a full proposal.)
EXCLUSIONS
The trust does not make grants to individuals, for annual campaigns, continuing support, deficit financing or sectarian purposes. Building funds, operating budgets, scholarships and equipment purchases are given a lower priority.
Because of the volume of requests received, some delay in action on requests is to be expected. A report on the use of funds granted is required. The Trust does not seek publicity on grants but may approve publicity on grants that will further their enterprise. |
